In an effort to focus on what I have rather than complain about what I don’t, I started keeping a gratitude journal. Everyday I add three things to my “list of thanks” that I keep in the notes of my iPhone. It’s a great way to remind myself just how fortunate I am. And it’s so easy to keep such a list in my iPhone, rather than carry another journal (I already lug around a diary, a joke/idea notebook, and often my laptop).
Apparently I’m not the only one using their iPhone to keep such a grateful list. Happytapper.com has an iPhone Gratitude Journal application. For $.99 you can download this adorable mobile journal complete with inspirational quotes and photos to keep you motivated. The company also offers a Vision Board application to help you define your hopes, dreams, and goals.
Ten percent of all profits made from HappyTapper apps go to charities (although the site didn’t list which specific charities).
