One of my favorite photo sharing sites, Snapfish, is launching its “Share to Care” campaign in which 30 percent of sales from calendars, photo books, notebooks, notepads and stickers in October will be donated to Breastcancer.org, an organization offering medical information and support to victims. Snapfish is also sponsoring a photo contest where 20 winners will get to donate $300 to the breast cancer organization of their choice.
General manager of Snapfish by HP Ben Nelson said of the campaign “Breast cancer awareness, support, early detection and prevention are all very important to us because we know how important they are to the lives of our online community and our own Snapfish family. We are proud to support this effort and hope the ‘Share to Care’ campaign goes a little way to help people further connect with their loved ones.”
So now when you create that cute calendar featuring insanely adorable pics of your puppies, you can also take action.
