As Andy pointed out yesterday, The Informant opens today! In preparation for the opening I recommend giving a listen to the two below pieces.
First, The AV Club has a nice audio review up. The text before the audio link? “Kyle, Tasha, and Keith regard Steven Soderbergh’s latest film and find it good.” AWESOME!
Second, NPR has an interview up with director Steven Soderbergh and star Matt Damon. My favorite quote from the interview? “When the book reached us in 2001, I’d recently finished Erin Brockovich, and Michael Mann’s The Insider had come out in 1999. I think our sense was we needed to do something different, that just taking the standard approach wasn’t really going to be exciting or fresh,” Also, AWESOME!
So listen to The AV Club review HERE and the NPR piece HERE and then go check out The Informance and then go to the “act” section of this post to learn how you can get involved with the issues in the film!
