Oh my goodness, tomorrow is a great day, because tomorrow is the grand opening of The Informant! Now, we’ve been pretty excited here at TakePart for a while now about the movie coming out, and the wait is almost over! Get pumped, people.
I actually had the opportunity to see The Informant! on Monday, and it’s everything you’d expect from a Steven Soderbergh film–visually wonderful, top-notch acting, a tight script, and the viewer is entertained the entire way through. Besides, in addition to Matt Damon’s awesome moustache, the movie treats you to great performances from not only Scott Bakula, but also some real comedy ringers: Patton Oswalt, Joel McHale, Paul F. Tompkins, Scott Adsit, Tom Papa, Tony Hale, and, and both Smothers Brothers.
The movie is a great insight into corporate shenanigans that are, sadly, still going on today, but with a dark and wry humor that keeps you laughing the whole way through. So go see The Informant! just as soon as you can, get some great laughs, and then come back to TakePart.com/TheInformant to learn more about whistleblowing.
