Thus far the most Toronto news has been coming through on Twitter, with 140 character reviews of films popping up all over the place.  Some of the reviews are to the point, others require some deciphering and some are just wrong (I haven’t seen A Prophet but Public Enemies is amazing).
Of course some longer pieces are starting to pop up and I’d imagine many more will this weekend. Below are some links to both Twitter and longer reviews for your reading pleasure. The films below all sound interesting and come from a mix of seasoned and new directors.
Pick and choose based on the films you might be interested in and how much “reading” you actually want to do. I’m keeping the coverage to films that won’t be at the NYFF, since I’ll be providing my own reviews of those films starting next week.
