Green Porno Season 3 Premiere: Dive In Posted by Danny Jensen on September 10, 2009 at 4:06 pm

picture-21Green Porno sounds like an environmentalist’s fantasy, and in a way it is, when it comes to Isabella Rossellini’s Green Porno series for the Sundance Channel. The series explores reproductive habits of non-human species through educational and entertaining short films.

You may have heard about the Webby Award-winning Season 1 and Season 2 here, and now Season 3 will premiere this Friday at the Toronto Film Festival and make its online debut this Monday, September 14th.

The previous seasons have been hilarious and informative, and this season promises no less, I’m sure.  The new series will focus on the reproductive habits of sea creatures and in addition to the amazing puppetry of the previous episodes, will also mix in documentary footage and animation.  I’m especially excited to hear that this time around there will be an even more of an environmental spin and will help educate viewers on the impact of some of our eating habits.  Thank you Sundance and Isabella Rossellini!  Be sure to tune in on Monday and use the action link below to help protect ocean wildlife.  In the meantime, check out the video below about Starfish from the previous season of Green Porno:
