Last summer I went to Ohio for a month to visit my family and write a screenplay (which has since been shot). While there I took advantage of all the amazing local produce and having actual time to cook and lived by the vegan code. I posted some photo diaries (which look a little funky since TakePart got redesigned) of what I was eating in hopes of showing folks that vegan eating isn’t boring eating - that you can do amazing beautiful things with vegetables, grains and fruits.
Well this summer I am back in Ohio to write another screenplay and I had such a good time with my veganism last summer that I decided to do it again. And because I am still a firm believer that the best way to get people to change their eating habits is to show them how awesome vegetables can be I’ve decided to post pictures of my meals.
Below is local sweet corn, tempeh, vegan apple sage sausages, lemon and argula pasta salad, homemade waffles and tons of beautiful vegetables.  Enjoy and maybe try a vegan meal tonight!
