On Thursday, the ACLU released a viral video featuring several prominent celebrities reciting details from the Bush Administration’s memos authorizing the use of torture during military interrogations of suspected terrorists. Among those involved are Oscar winning filmmaker and prominent political activist Oliver Stone, legendary film composer Philip Glass, and actress Rosie Perez. The roughly minute-and-a-half length production serves as a chilling call to Attorney General Eric Holder to move forward with investigations into the Bush administration’s authorization of torture techniques that have caused much outrage amongst both civil liberty advocates and former military personnel alike.
The ACLU is currently imploring Attorney General Holder to move forward with a criminal investigation in regard to the authorization of such methods.

Yeah. Let the investigations proceed and the chips fall where they may. In the course of destroying this country, George W. Bush (the First Fool as I loved to call him) undid DECADES of diplomatic protocol.
Were these morons able to get information via torture? Sure they did. Most of that info was false. You see, under those circumstances, the person being tortured will say just about anything. It is quite interesting: no one in this administration (Excuse me, I meant to say, “THAT administration) was smart enough to figure this out.
