Ever since August of last year we in the blogsphere have been trying to figure out what to do with Sarah Palin.  Well finally there is the possibility that we won’t have to (although come the 2012 race I have a feeling we’ll hear from her again). Palin stepped down from the Governorship this weekend and with it she gave a very Palinesque speech. I was going to comment on specific points but actually think it might be better if you just watched it. I will warn you to expect things along the line of “I have a message for you Hollywood, we eat and therefore we hunt” (or something like that).

Seriously though, listening to her it is hard to believe that she has had such a prominent place in politics over the past year.  I hope, for Alaska’s sake, that her departure means better things for the environment and for the people that live there.
