I’ve always been a bad sewer. From my first home-economics class where I almost gave up making a pair of boxers till now, when I still have my mom hem all my dresses from the Salvation Army.
It isn’t something I’m proud of. In fact I’m way jealous of all my friends who can sew and who make awesome clothes all the time. (or turn thrift store clothes into perfect outfits by tweaking them). It is for them and for hope of a future where I can sew that I give you today’s Etsy Pick of the Day, an awesome thread organizer. TheWoodShoppe’s Thread Organizer for Beginners is great if you are just starting or if you simply need to get your sewing self in order.
“It conveniently hangs on your wall to free up table space and holds up to 4 spools of thread!” “It is also constructed out of red oak and dowel rod” and “comes to you unfinished, leaving you the pleasure of painting or staining it to match your decor.”
And who knows, if you sew enough maybe you’re pieces will end up on Etsy and I can feature them here!
