Thanks to Al Gore and An Inconvenient Truth many of us are aware of the current battle surrounding global warming and exactly what is at stake.
But how much do you know about environmental fights of the past or where the environmental movement actually started? It is an important thing to consider and thankfully the film Earth Days is giving us the opportunity to do so cinematically.
The trailer below is pretty darn compelling.
Earth Days closed Sundance and I think I can see why it was chosen as they closing film - it’s taking an issue that is extremely current and in a ton of films and is giving us much needed historical context, which I haven’t seen done in documentary yet.
I for one am excited.
