I like to end the week with a little bit of innovation. From unusual ad campaigns to revolutionary artists, from eco-friendly products to incredible new videos, this is the short and quick of what should make you want to look twice.
1. Now we can fly kites
In Afghanistan, the Taliban banned happy things like bird keeping and soccer. Now that the infamous regime is no longer in control, the face of the country is starting to change. Check out James Reeve’s photo gallery.
2. Inspired by the Wild
It seems like it’s taking forever for Spike Jonze’s “Where the Wild Things Are” to come out, but lose track of time and check out some inspired art from Sendak’s incredible story.
3. If you’re gonna tag…
At least make it eco-friendly. Read the interview of one guy who is doing his part to save the world, one muddy stencil at a time.
4. When it rains, it bleeds
In New Zealand, the death toll on the roads increases after the first heavy rains in summer. A billboard campaign calls it out - when it rains, the billboard bleeds. The creepy kid’s face seems like it would cause an accident, right?!

5. My Goodness
Check out 500 companies and their donations to organizations from around the world. The hope of The Goodness 500 is to give busy consumers the information they need to encourage them to demand more from capitalism.

6. You are the most powerful person
And Votetocracy is giving you the change to find out what bills are currently being voted on, what’s on Pres. Obama’s desk, and what’s the outcome of the stuff you care about. Give your opinion and get educated.
Got a few things up your sleeve that you think are worth a mention? Email feedback@takepart.com, write it in the comments, or send me a tweeeet.

If there were no stupidly rich people there would be no starving people I don’t know how the can live with themselves.
