While we tend to focus on very issue based social change and inspiration here at TakePart I always think it’s a good idea to step back and appreciate the other things in the world that can breed inspiration, like music and movies.  Even if a movie or a song isn’t about a specific social issue they can remind us, in small and very large ways, that humanity is capable of creating beautiful things that can teach us about ourselves and connect us.

It is this reason that I point you in the direction of a new blog that was recently pointed out to me. Nevver is a daily blog that features a movie still (like the one to the left) and an awesome song.   It’s a simple idea but a kind of wonderful one. Each day offers an interesting pairing that can often hit you in just the right way.  And there are ton of back posts meaning you can explore for hours. Listening and looking to your hearts content.

Things like this make me happy the internet exists.
