I love art, and I love bargains, but I don’t have enough art knowledge (or motivation) to really seek out pieces by great up-and-coming artists at low prices. That’s why I was excited to find out about Tiny Showcase. Tiny Showcase is tiny in two respects: First, they have a small, hand selected collection of artwork, with just one new hand-selected run of prints sold each week. Second, the prints are TINY. The piece that went up yesterday, a Jeff Soto print, was 5” by 5”. Because the pieces are small, the prices are low- generally $20 or under. Better yet, a portion of each purchase is donated to a charity chosen by the artist. So, when I bought a miniature Jeff Soto print yesterday, I also supported the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Cool art, low prices, and a bit of charity. What’s not to like?
