Making Herstory

HerStoria (thanks for the link Jezebel!) is a UK-based magazine dedicated to women’s history. The mag just launched in February as a quarterly publication and Jezebel describes it as “think of it as a cross between American Heritage and a gender studies journal: accessible history, but smart and unpatronizing.” I totally dig smart but unpatronizing stuff. HerStoria promises to “entertain, inform and create a community. We’ll turn a kaleidoscope on the past to uncover a different history - women’s history - and celebrate the women who made it”. Very cool.
