Olivier Meyrou’s impressive verite film looks at one family’s struggle to get over the murder of their gay son. When twenty-nine-year-old François Chenu was killed by three skinheads in France looking to inflict harm on someone “different,” it forced his family to look at justice and hatred in a new light.
I’ve only heard great things about this documentary, and based on that I highly recommend checking it out tonight. It screens on PBS at 10pm. Below is a link to the trailer along with some links to some of the film’s press.

Also, if you don’t have TV you can always get the DVD or watch it on POV’s website July 1st through July 16th.
