In anticipation of the domestic release of the film The Stoning of Soraya M., there will be a Facebook video Q&A chat with the director of the film, Cyrus Nowrasteh, tomorrow (June 25) at 4pm PST. The picture is a narrative feature, based on a true story, that focuses on the plight of those living under theocratic rule in Iran. It has a very powerful message and could not have come at a more defining moment considering what is going on in that country since the contested elections. In case you missed it, TakePart blogger Caroline Keichian interviewed Nowrasteh about the film last Friday.
