*UPDATE - I can’t find a link to the press conference on MSNBC, but CNN has a live link up and ready to go.
In a little less than one hour (12:30pm EST)President Barack Obama will be holding an official press conference to address the situation in Iran. It is being reported that he will condemn the violence that is happening against the peaceful protesters.
The Huffington Post should have a link to to the live event and if they don’t I recommend checking out MSNBC.
Check back after the press conference for my TakePart thoughts on the President’s words and stance surrounding the situation.
For now check out The Huffington’s Post Iran live-blog.

Then… let me guess… That will give the U.S. a justification to invade another country. If you take a look at the map of that region, Iran is the only country left that is not U.S. “friendly” or under the U.S. influence. Do you think that, if we have protests here in the U.S. against our own govenrment, we wouldn’t be arrested?? With what authority should we go to other country, invade them and impose them our so called “freedom”? Is there any other country in the World that would come over to fix our problems and invade us as we do with the rest of the World. Do we really want a better World or just the whole World for ourselves? We should be honest to ourselves when aswering that question.
