It is rainy day here in New York City, which make me all the more excited to leave for Nantucket tonight! I’ll be heading over there to attend the 14th annual Nantucket Film Festival and to tell you all about it.
I’m most excited to see The Cove and to learn how I can help stop dolphin slaughter. Also on my agenda are Andrew Bujalski’s Beeswax, Bradley Rust Gray’s The Exploding Girl, Kathryn Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker, Aron Gaudet ’s The Way We Get By and Oren Moverman’s The Messenger. The line-up at Nantucket is pretty fabulous this year.
I am also excited for potential fun in the sun, which everyone needs, esp if you live in New York City, as the past few weeks have been ridiculously rain filled.  In random internet clicking I came across the below song from 10 years go, which annoyed me at age 17, but now seems pretty right on. Also, it is a good reminder if you are heading off to a beach community (like I am).
