This has been an amazing weekend for the limited opening of Food, Inc., with rave reviews rolling in from all over.
New York Magazine’s David Edelstein ladled praise:
See it. Bring your kids if you have them. Bring someone else’s kids if you don’t.
Rick Sanchez from CNN agreed, dedicating an entire segment of his show to Food, Inc. He watched the film with his entire family, because he thought it was “important to watch together.” The importance of Food, Inc. was also discussed on Good Morning America, and NPR covered the film extensively. Paste magazine’s Robert Davis’ wrote a glowing review, while Los Angeles Time’s Gary Goldstein concluded his review with a sentiment widely mirrored among those who have seen the documentary: “Food, Inc. is essential viewing.”
Many other outlets have run stories on why Food, Inc. is such an important film, and the reviews seem to agree that Food, Inc. delivers its message with style. Now that you’ve seen or heard mention of Food, Inc. in print, online, over the radio, and on TV, check it out in theaters.
