The Time Traveler’s Wife: Upcoming Movie Trailer

I don’t know if I just need another cup of coffee but this trailer almost made me cry.
Maybe it is the whole, forbidden love angle but I might want to see this? I never read “The Time Traveler’s Wife” but I feel like I remember a few people recommending it to me?
Although, I should probably just let my rational mind win the debate, seeing as the trailer below is a clear indication that this is just another Hollywood take on romance - which unless the film was made prior to 1960 I’m almost never a fan of.
I do like Rachel McAdams though…
Sigh, maybe I’ll just do a matinee on a Monday afternoon by myself and some tissues.

You should definitely read the book so that the movie doesn’t spoil you. It’s my favorite book, it’s wonderful.
I cried after watching the trailer too. I read the book and cried buckets - watching the trailer reminded me of how I felt while reading the book. I look forward to the movie with mixed emotions - I want to see it but know I’ll sob.
I also highly recommend the book.
