Editor’s note: We’re proud to be pairing up with TOMS Shoes in a new TakePart original series. In case you aren’t familiar with their mission, here’s the first post: TOMS: Shoes (and a Business Model) For Tomorrow.
We hear you. You’ve bought a pair of TOMS, you wear them everyday, you tell everyone you meet about the One for One mission, your friends might even think you’re an undercover salesman for TOMS Shoes. But… what’s next? How can you become an even bigger part of the TOMS movement? Although TOMS might not be hiring undercover salesman, TOMS campus programs are surely flourishing.
TOMS campus reps are the voice of TOMS in their communities. They are an integral part to the growth of the One for One movement, and we appreciate every day of their hard work and dedication. TOMS is excited to be working with TakePart because YOU GUYS care about taking a step towards a better tomorrow…and so do we. We’ve gathered some of the most frequently asked questions about being a TOMS campus rep to fill you in:
Can you be a campus rep in high school?
Yes! TOMS Campus Reps represent TOMS on both college and high school campuses.
Does it cost anything to be a campus rep?
Nope. Just some passion for the movement, a dedicated approach, and an open mind.
What will I do as a TOMS campus rep?
Share the TOMS story with your entire campus by hosting events, putting up fliers, emailing your friends, and wearing your TOMS!
Will I be interacting with the TOMS headquarters?
Of course! We will be in constant communication, keeping you up to date on the latest and greatest TOMS news. You’ll hear it first!
If you’re energetic, passionate, hard-working, and stoked on TOMS, join the movement as a TOMS campus rep! Check out the Get Involved section of the TOMS website to learn more and fill out an application!
