When is a joke just a joke and when is it offensive? And when is it dangerous?
Well according to Sarah Palin, David Letterman’s recent jokes about her daughter and herself were offensive and dangerous. Below David Letterman takes the time to explain the entire scenario and defend himself. And as per usual, he does so with intelligence and humor while making a pretty good point about what he does on his program and taking things out of context.
What do you think? Was Letterman out of line or did Palin overreact (I am on team Letterman on this one)? Let us know in the comments!

Palin pinned it to Willow because thats who was at the Game. The context of the joke was about Bristol, because she was knocked up during the campaign. Its all out of context.
I am a huge Letterman fan but sometimes people make mistakes, this was his. It was an uncomfortable and not very funny joke and children of famous people should be left alone.
hummmm wait, David has a young son, wonder what he will do when he gets older, Dave, you can hold onto them so long, but hey when the time comes, on the back seat of a car or a sleazy hotel, your words wont mean a thing to him, so be careful what you reap, the wheel turns slowly, we are waiting
