Following the first ever World Oceans Day it seems that this trailer and film couldn’t be more relevant.
The End of the Line deals with our friends who live in the oceans and the fact that we are killing all the fish and are risking a future without them unless we change.
And while I am sick of comparisons of “this is the Inconvenient Truth about such and such” I do think that this film seems extremely important. Because when you think about it the only reason we are able to eat as much meat as we do is because of factory farming, which we can’t do with fish…
And even though it isn’t mentioned in the trailer I am excited that the film is narrated by Ted Danson, one of the stars of one of my current favorite TV shows Damages.
Hopefully his voice will give the film a larger voice that will reach more people-because I for one like having fish in the ocean.
