The idea “do unto others as you would have them do unto” is ringing true at Bay Community Church in Malbis, Alabama where church goers were given money (instead of asking to give). The trustees of Bay Community gave each of the church’s 2,000 congregants with an envelope containing between $20 to $100 that they then had to give away to someone in need. The envelopes contained instructions to “turn around and bless someone.” Parishoners were told they can’t give it back to the church and they can’t spend it on themselves and their family. Awesome, right? Makes me wanna scream OMG!
