President Barack Obama had the crowd rolling with laughter in DC at last night’s annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Check it out:
As with all things, George W. Bush was not an easy act to follow at the yearly Correspondents gala. Despite the former Presidents knack for bungling virtually everything related to the governance of our country, Bush was skilled in the art of being a smarmy smartass behind a podium. Some proof:
“I must confess I really did not want to be here tonight. But I knew I had to come. That’s one more problem that I inherited from George W. Bush.”
Dick Cheney was supposed to be here, but he is very busy working on his memoirs, tentatively titled, ‘How to Shoot Friends and Interrogate People.”
“Just last week Car & Driver named me Auto Executive of the Year.”
Regarding House Minority Leader John Boehner “We have a lot in common: He is a person of color. Although not a color that appears in the natural world”
