Climate change could worsen or possibly trigger mega-droughts in Africa, according to a new study.  The frightening implications of the research obviously indicate that developing countries must drastically curb their greenhouse gas emissions, but efforts must also be made to help prepare the tens of millions of people living on the continent who are at risk.  Scientists worry that recent surges in populations could raise the number of drought-related catastrophes far beyond that of previous droughts.  Here is just a glimpse of these conditions from Al Jazerra, showing what Africans could be forced to endure if these droughts continue to worsen:

Could trigger?? I say will trigger. Humans are at another brink of extinction.
Oil is killing us.

Not only oil! Our (the developed world) meat habit, eco disastrous industrial ag practices, insane bio-fuel projects, water wasting, over-consumption of everything, lack of foresight and compassion! Etc.
