If anything is to be learned from the whole Levi Johnston/Bristol Palin/Sarah Palin/baby debacle it is that we need to empower young women to take control of their sex lives (or lack there of). The more women are comfortable and knowledgeable with and about their bodies the more likely they are to wait until they are really ready to have sex or to get birth control or to demand that a condom be used.
Planned Parenthood has a great little video out that showcases this spirit where women of all ages and backgrounds talk about the first time they went to the gynecologist or the first time they got tested. The less taboo all of this is the better!
