I actually really liked the Bruno segments that aired on Sacha Baron Cohen’s HBO show - but this didn’t really strike me as being very funny?

What I liked about Bruno was that confronted people who were homophobic - and he used intelligent ideas (disguised in the body of a flamboyant man) to get his point across. Here he just appears to be going to extremes and making fun of people. But maybe I’m wrong and the film will do what the show once did. Either way, takepart with GLAAD to stop defamation of Gays and Lesbians - because hopefully, at its heart, that is what Bruno is about.
