Al Gore really needs no introduction to most folks who read our site - but just in case - Al Gore was the Vice President from 1992 - 2000 and since then has been fighting for global warming awareness, making Oscar winning films and picking up Nobel Peace Prizes.

All I know is that I’ve been a big fan of Mr. Gore since I worked on his 2000 campaign (the first election I was able to vote in) and I am glad we have him fighting to inform us about how we can help.  His work with We Can Solve It and the larger umbrella group The Alliance for Climate Protection is inspiring and extremely important in keeping our planet (and ourselves) healthy.
