Earth was more than I expected. It chronicles the story of three animal families, each struggling to survive in their respective habitats. The footage is miraculous at times; heartbreaking at others.
The movie opens nationwide on Earth Day, April 22. takepart and get your presale tickets today and Disneynature will plant a tree on your behalf in the critically endangered Brazilian Atlantic Forest. I’ll be interviewing directors Alastair Fothergill and Mark Linfield, the amazing duo that brought you Planet Earth, on March 30, so be sure to check back for that piece later this month. (Update: Here’s the interview.) You can check out the trailer here.
