The Cove has been making waves since it took home the audience award at the 2009 Sundance film festival. The documentary exposes the horrific details of one of the cruelest and most monstrous massacres of wildlife on the planet: a dolphin slaughter in Taiji, Japan.
Sea Shepherd Captain Paul Watson was interviewed for The Cove in June 2008 in Santiago, Chile and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society issued a press release last week saying how proud they are to be associated with this powerful indictment of the Japanese dolphin slaughter.
The Cove is opening in the US later this year and Participant Media (YAY! That’s us!) signed on to help further the social action and outreach efforts surrounding the film.
Millions of people are not going to see the truth about the Taiji Dolphin slaughter and hopefully we can put an end to these horrendous crimes.

Millions of people are not going to see the truth about the Taiji Dolphin slaughter and hopefully we can put an end to these horrendous crimes.
thanks for spreading the word,go see the film!!
excellent job exposing this horrible slaughter.
Horrific. I’m speachless.
Excellent film though, thank you.
I’m also a filmmaker, frustrated with tv an the media world which is scared of controversy. I want to be an activist not an inactivist. Life’s too short.. Why waste it burying our heads in the sand.
How can I help / get involved?
