Ken Salazar is already disappointing me! I’ve written several posts recently about wildlife; I don’t know why people are so enamored with killing innocent wildlife for economic gain, fun or because they are deemed pests.  While I thought this was an era of change, Salazar has chosen to follow Bush’s policy on wolves that will remove them from the Endangered Species Act.  WIthout these protections, it means that 1,00o wolves will be on “death row” in the Northern Rockies, stretching from Yellowstone to Glacier National Parks.  You can help to stop this horrific policy by supporting the Natural Resources Defense Council’s final legal challenge.  It’s time for endangered species to be guaranteed their protections  rather than the end of a rifle.
