Jane Alexander Defends 50 Million NEA Grant

There’s a great interview with actress Jane Alexander at CNN.com in response to Bobby Jindal’s criticism of $50 million going to fund the National Endowment for the Arts in which he said “I don’t think is going to get the economy moving again as quickly as allowing the private sector to create jobs.” Alexander raises many good points including the fact that there are over 2 million people in the US who are professional artists and those jobs are just as important as any other jobs. takepart and support the National Endowment for the Arts, visit nea.gov to learn more.
