President Obama is taking swift action towards developing a new international climate pact that will not only work to curb greenhouse gas emissions, but also help developing countries deal with the effects of climate change.  I know I’m not the only one thrilled that the United States is finally stepping up to the plate after years of running away from the ballfield. 350.org is one group that is excited that our government is stepping back into the fray. 350.org, (which got a shout-out in the New York Times) is an international campaign dedicated to creating an equitable global climate treaty that lowers carbon dioxide below 350 parts per million. Check out their video, which follows the latest trend of animation, but is cool nonetheless:
takepart by taking action to combat climate change in a variety of ways with 350.org.
