I know we’ve teased you with this in the past, and I know we’ve broken your heart before, but I think this time we have the real deal…THE ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT MOVIE IS ACTUALLY GOING TO GET MADE!!!!
I may have peed myself. Just a little bit.
I pulled this info from The A.V. Club, who got it from E! Online, but who cares about that? All that matters is this: Michael Cera had been the one guy not in for the awesomeness, and now he’s signed on, say “inside sources.”
Cera has been the lone holdout of the ensemble cast for a while now, so this announcement, combined with Ron Howard’s almost-confirmation at the Oscars (”It’s looking very much like we’re going to make [the movie], but we’ve now been asked to stop offering any details. It’s cloaked in a little mystery, but it’s looking good.”), is a good omen for the perpetually on-again-off-again project.
Yes. Yes twice. Yes again. This news literally just made your life better. Fact. No take action item today. Just, this.
