So this PSA from American Humane is a little cheesy but it makes a pretty great point about human behavior:
All too often people don’t do anything.  Yesterday I was on the subway and a 35 year old jerk in a black pea coat verbally assaulted me for 5 minutes and not one person said something. I was fine, but it makes you wonder about why people keep quiet when they see something like that going on.
Luckily American Humane has a lot of great tips about what you can do when you see a mom yelling at her kid at the grocery store or when a man says extremely awful and rude things to a young female blogger on the subway (even though the site says the advice is for helping children and animals, I think they are fairly universal for anyone being treated badly)
takepart to learn how to help in and make the world a more humane place.
