Even football has gone green (which I guess makes sense, green field and all. Right?) The t-shirts worn by the winning Super Bowl team were made with “eco-friendly, 100 percent organic cotton fabric” by Reebok International Ltd.
“These Championship Tees are produced each year for the Super Bowl and are typically a best-seller,” he said. “By incorporating an eco-friendly element to them, the Reebok brand and the NFL are using the global platform of the Super Bowl to raise awareness about environmentally-conscious opportunities.” -Boston Globe
I always feel bad for those rejected losing team shirts.
Yes, I feel bad for a shirt. Weird, I know.
