Jessica Simpson has (gasp!) put on a little weight. I had no idea of this apparently very important national news until I accidentally watched five minutes of Access Hollywood tonight while frantically searching for the remote. The TV show shared photos of a curvier Simpson at the Radio 99.9 Kiss Country’s annual Chili Cookoff.

Okay for starters, it’s a chilli cookoff, who isn’t a little curvy from all those beans? And secondly, WHO CARES? Access Hollywood certainly does when they asked Miley Cyrus, Donald Trump, and Kim Kardasian what they thought of Jessica’s body to which they all replied “she looks great!”

What?! Can you imagine if people were being asked to comment on your body shape?

How about if that same TV show then invited viewers to go online and vote if you “look good” or if you “need to hit the gym and do cardio”? Could you imagine if a TV show did that? Well, they did do that to Jessica Simpson! Access Hollywood is seriously taking an online poll regarding if a woman needs to exercise more! Whaaa?

Please can the media takepart and do a story focused on preventing eating disorders (visit
nationaleatingdisorders.org for info) instead stories that could cause them?
