Holocaust Remembrance Day and iVolunteer

Ceremonies took place around the world today for International Holocaust Remembrance Day, honoring the victims and survivors of the Nazi death camps. The date marks the 64th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, and remembering the atrocities of the holocaust is especially important at a time when the insulting denial of the Holocaust continues.
To preserve the memories of those who died and to provide support to Holocaust survivors, iVolunteer was created to pair volunteers in New York with Holocaust survivors to offer assistance and companionship. Check out this video about this amazing organization:
