I love Will Ferrell and I love that he has a new one-man Broadway show “You’re Welcome America. A Final Night with George W Bush” opening on Feb. 5, 2009 at the Cort Theatre in NYC (with previews starting on Bush’s last day in office Jan. 20). Check out the promo below.

To promote the show, Ferrell appeared in a TV commercial (different from the above promo) saying “If you don’t watch this, you’re a giant D-bag. D stands for ‘douche.’” According to the New York Post, ABC and CBS pulled the ad after some d-bag viewers complained. Boo!

I’m hoping to finagle tickets (Will, if you’re reading this please send me a pair. Come on, I just promoted you and said I loved you! I love you Will Ferrell. I love you). If I can’t get tix (come on Will) I’ll just wait til this spring when HBO airs a live telecast of the performance. Hoorah!
