Panda Attacks Man at Zoo Posted by Giulia Rozzi on January 13, 2009 at 1:24 pm

A Beijing Zoo panda named Gu Gu attacked for the third time, bitting a mans legs who jumped into the animal’s enclosure to retrieve his son’s toy.

Okay, how many times have we seen this happen? Yet people keep jumping into animal cages at the zoo. Stop! I mean, if a stranger busted into my home I’d attack him too. Yes, Pandas are so darn cute but they are also wild animals! Leave the damn toy dude.

Usually Giant Pandas are sweet right? They are also one of the most endangered species in the world. There are an estimated only 1,590 Pandas left in the world. So if you love these adorable little creatures (when they are not ripping limbs from a human of course) takepart and check out Pandas International at http://www.pandasinternational.org. Pandas International was formed to aid in saving the Giant Panda from almost certain extinction. Pandas International supports panda nature reserves in their native China through medical research, breeding programs, veterinary care, medicine and medical equipment. Pandas International also focuses on habitat preservation and education programs to increase public awareness of the panda as a highly endangered species.

I think people should not jump into wild animal cages just for a toy or something they dropped, just go buy a new one! These cute animals are from the wild, we should not be in their environment endangering them in anyway because they are going extinct and we need to save them!!!
