Natalie Dylan to Lose Virginity, Gain Lots of Money Posted by Gina Telaroli on January 13, 2009 at 10:34 am

Apparently the 22 year old girl who months ago announced that she planned on auctioning off her virginity now has bids that are in the millions.  Natalie Dylan says that 10,000 men have bid to take that virginity from her and that bidding has reached the level of £2.5million or 3.7 million dollars.  Dylan is a student and originally said she was using the auction as a way to pay for her education - although clearly 3.7 mil covers more than just education.

I’m sure there are some people out there that find this kind of gross and despicable but in my opinion I think Miss Dylan isn’t so wrong in her decision.  Would it be better for her to choose some random dude to have sex with her or to wait, perhaps in vain, for a a boyfriend to help her along?  The reality is that the older women (and men for that matter) get the less cool virginity is and in many ways it is something you have to get rid of (unless you have strict religious beliefs) in order to exist in the dating world.   That isn’t to say that women should have to force themselves to have sex when they aren’t ready in hopes of finding a companion - just that relationships are often about people being on the same page and place in their lives - and quite frankly if you’re a virgin over the age of 22 you’re going to find a lot less people you are on the same page with (for both ladies and men).

So why shouldn’t Natalie multi-task and deal with something she is apparently ready to deal with (losing her virginity and getting on with her sexual life) and also pay for her education and set herself up for life? I think the most important thing is that Natalie (and all women) feels that it’s the right decision for her and that she feels confident and good about what she is doing.

In that spirit takepart to learn about an awesome store that is sex-positive and women-oriented.  Their goal is to make more women comfortable in taking control of their sexual selves and finding new ways to experience pleasure with their partners and on their own.
