My top vote goes for the Grand Canyon.
The New 7 Wonders of Nature campaign is now taking votes on the most spectacular natural sites on the planet. The general public is now choosing from 261 nominees to see which 77 wonders will advance to next stage of the contest. The nominees that clear this round will be announced on July 7, 2009 and will then be winnowed by a “panel of experts” to 21 finalists.
For the last stage, the voting public will be brought back into the decision process with voting lasting through 2010. The final 7 Wonders of Nature will then be announced in 2011. Sure it’s going to take a while, but when you consider that it took billions of years to create these treasures - like the Grand Canyon, Mount Everest, the Great Barrier Reef and Victoria Falls - a couple years of deliberation is not all that bad.
You can takepart in protecting the wonders of the natural world by supporting the Sierra Club.
