Do you believe in angels? I read on Jezebel today that according to a recent Pew survey 68% of Americans “either ‘completely agree’ or ‘mostly agree’ that angels (and demons) are active in this world.”
Whenever I hear the word “angel” I always think of this song, which was one of my favs in Junior High.
Ah, classic.
Sorry, back to legitimate angels. Not romantic rock song angels.
Colleen Hughes, editor of Angels on Earth told CBS News that she believes most people believe in angels “because too much stuff happens to us that we can’t explain. There are coincidences that we’re willing to chalk up to coincidence, and there’s too much that we aren’t, because we have this feeling that it was something else. - Jezebel.com
Hmmm “…this feeling that it was something else” that gives me the warm fuzzies. I’ve for sure had moments where I feel protected, supported or comforted by an energy I cannot really explain. It’s neat to think that maybe, there is someone watching out for us.
And someone who is really trying to inspire more angels on earth is the fabulous Oprah Winfrey. Oprahs’ Angel Network was established to encourage people around the world to make a difference in the lives of others.
