W. Mark Felt, who was the No. 2 official at the F.B.I. when he aided Bob Woodward in bringing down Nixon for Watergate, has passed away. He was 95 and lived in Santa Rosa, Calif.  It was only 3 years ago that Felt revealed his secret hidden identity that it was he who helped the story of Watergate stay alive in the press (via Bob Woodward) while also working from the inside to fight the deeds of the President.
