EPA Creates Most Wanted List Posted by Andy Kondrat on December 11, 2008 at 4:51 pm

Oh, hey, hi, yes, still here, just been very busy.  But I figured I’d pop in to say a few words about the fact that the Environmental Protection Agency has created its own list of their most wanted environmental fugitives.  Kind of like the FBI’s list, but probably fewer armed robberies involved.  Though not metaphorically speaking.  Says the Associated Press (via Yahoo!):

These fugitives allegedly smuggled chemicals that eat away the Earth’s protective ozone layer, dumped hazardous waste into oceans and rivers and trafficked in polluting cars…In its own version of the FBI most-wanted list, and the first to focus on environmental crimes, the Environmental Protection Agency is unveiling a roster of 23 fugitives, complete with mug shots and descriptions of the charge.

So now you (yes, you!) can help the EPA catch those that are doing harm to the environment.  BUT the EPA reminds you: “Do not attempt to apprehend any of these individuals.”  Call Johnny Law. Based on the website, two individuals on the list have already been captured, but there’s a long way to go.

So takepart and look over the list of the EPA’s most wanted.  And, if you see any of them, call the po-leece.
