I have a habit of posting articles from Zen Habits here. I just love that site. They talk about stuff that, I think, needs to be discussed but is often goes un-talked about. Stuff like taking care of yourself and your spirit. Today’s article is about making your heart and mind work together.
Author Jonathan Mead says “the same voice in your mind that told you to act, is the same voice that ridicules you later for making that choice… unfortunately it’s typical in our society to feel a conflict between what we want to do (our heart) and what we feel is practical (our mind).” And who hasn’t felt that, right?
takepart get your heart and mind working with you, not against you. Check out Mead’s full article at http://zenhabits.net/2008/12/how-to-make-your-heart-and-your-mind-work-together/

How very true. Not only that, but there are so many times, I have experienced where my mind knew the truth, that my heart just did not want to know. Those “rose colored glasses.”
