I think this movie has already come out, like a billion times:
I mean the only actual reason to see this is if you like Sandra Bullock or Ryan Reynolds or if you have been secretly wishing that they would hook up. Otherwise this movie has been done. Of course romantic comedies are all a bit similar and follow a formula, but this one holds nothing to the imagination and the premise isn’t even that interesting. I say skip it and watch something like His Girl Friday, now that’s a romcom I can get down with.
If your not an old movie fan though, head on over to Spout Blog and takepart to take a look at 10 films from the past 10 years that are pretty romantic. I can’t say I approve of them all, but they’re probably all better than The Proposal (I’d imagine).
