Because I’m pretty sure I’ve been running with writing buzzkills for the last few days, let’s see if we can make things a little happier and report that former Vice President/Nobel Prize winner/Futurama voice/occasionally bearded dude Al Gore met with Barack Obama and Joe Biden today to discuss environmental type things.

The Associated Press (via MSNBC) tells us that the meeting did not involve discussing Gore’s formal return to Washington as part of Obama’s team, but instead to just talk, I suppose, about general environmental issues.  Like, you know, trees and, like, owls and stuff.

I’d tell you more about this Gore/Obama meeting, but there’s actually no more information on the interwebs about it, so I guess you ought to keep your eyes peeled for more as news leaks.  Until then, how about Al Gore on Futurama?  Great!

This comes ahead of Obama most likely announcing his energy and environment team later this week, probably tomorrow or Thursday. Perhaps Gore was getting his two cents in, or, with inflation, his eighty-three million dollars in?  Haha, that was a “hey the economy’s effed” joke.  I’m a full-time student.
